Description

In “Op stap“, the music describes various people moving through the city at a brisk pace, each in their own way.
These include people going to work, vacationers walking from one sight to another, cheerful young couples in love, foreign tourists, and more…

You will notice that a certain rhythm keeps recurring. Sometimes it appears very strict, other times more playful…
The piano also consistently presents this rhythmic pattern, sometimes in a very rhythmic manner, other times more melodically.
